One hand

Description

One hand is one of the fundamentals: the movements that build balance, a feel for the cable and confidence. Without these nothing else comes. Work on it on the System 2.0 with the instructor until it is automatic. A lap holding the handle with one hand.

How it's done

1. 01

   Start from the pontoon with your knees to your chest and your arms straight: let the cable pull you up.

2. 02

   Find the base position: 60% of your weight on the back foot, eyes ahead, handle low on the hip.

3. 03

   Repeat the movement over a whole lap of the lake at a steady speed.

4. 04

   When it comes three times in a row without thinking, the trick is yours.

Common mistakes

• Pulling the handle to your chest: it tips you forward.
• Looking at the board instead of the carrier.
• Stiff legs: absorb with your knees.
